Fences will buy or launder goods, and can remove your bounty without taking your goods.īreaking into the houses of NPC’s can open up new opportunities to find goods, you can search through desks, end-tables, personal chests, and if you’re lucky - you could find a private Strongbox with above average valuables. Outlaw Refuges are also a safe hiding place while you are avoiding Guards, you can also pay off your bounty WITHOUT losing your stolen goods, if you decide to do so. Fugitive - Guards will kill you on sight.Īny stolen goods you come across can only be sold to a Fence found in a local Outlaws Refuge in any city, fences also offer a”Launder” option of stolen goods so they can be used instead of fencing them. Pickpocket failures can attract unwanted attention. If the pickpocket fails, they may yell at you and call for guards, or even attack you, so be sure you have a good chance of pulling it off or that no guards are present in the area. If you go into Sneak Mode, you will notice there is the option to pickpocket NPC’s with a chance of success shown. Wait for the chance to turn green before pickpocketing.
